**Position Overview:**
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking to hire experienced and qualified candidates for the position of Senior Special Agent. This role is critical in support of the FBI’s mission to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the U.S., and provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct complex investigations involving federal crimes, terrorism, organized crime, cybercrime, public corruption, and other high-priority FBI cases.
- Develop and execute innovative investigative strategies and tactical methodologies to gather and analyze intelligence and evidence.
- Collaborate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and international partners to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor junior agents and investigative teams, providing training and guidance in investigative techniques, case management, and fieldwork.
- Draft reports, prepare case files, and present findings to senior officials and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all legal and applicable procedural standards.
- Testify as a government witness in court, presenting evidence and expert testimony as required.
- Maintain and develop advanced technical expertise in areas such as surveillance, cyber operations, forensic analysis, and crisis response.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to educate the public on crime prevention, national security, and FBI operations.
- Maintain high ethical standards while honoring and protecting the civil liberties and rights of individuals.

**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 7 years of law enforcement and/or investigative experience, with proven expertise in a relevant field such as criminal justice, intelligence, or counterterrorism. Previous experience as an FBI Special Agent is required.
- **Skills:**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in using investigative technologies and methodologies, including digital forensics, data analysis, and intelligence reporting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- **Certifications:** Eligible candidates must meet FBI employment eligibility requirements, which may include passing a background investigation, physical fitness assessment, and drug screening.
- **Clearance:** Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing demanding physical tasks as required in the field, including but not limited to running, lifting, and prolonged periods of physical activity.
